In one of Lisbon’s historic quarters, Casa Gabriela sits quietly within the texture of time — an apartment brought back to life through a deeply personal vision. The owner, with roots in Mexico and a passion for design, imagined a space that would honour both the past and the present.
The renovation sought not to erase history, but to coexist with it. Antique furniture was lovingly sourced and restored, each piece carrying a story, a soul — then set against a backdrop of clean lines and contemporary shapes.
This dialogue between old and new gives the apartment a character that feels layered and alive.
White was chosen as the canvas — a fresh, calming base that opens the space and reflects Lisbon’s ever-changing light.
Accents in earthy tones and warm shades bring depth and echo the owner’s cultural roots, adding richness without overwhelming the sense of calm.
